Stella Harrison has 30 years of experience at NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va. She started her career as an aircraft technician where she became crew chief of the B737 flying laboratory before attending Old Dominion University to become an electrical engineer. While studying engineering, she was the recipient of the ODU Faculty Award and Lampe Award. Through her career, Ms. Harrison supported the B757 as the lead systems engineer, the Orion Launch Abort System as the operations, maintenance and sustaining engineering lead, the Center Chief Engineer’s office as a LaRC Center review manager, the Engineering Directorate as an assistant branch head for the Systems Engineering and Integration Office, the Engineering Directorate as an associate chief engineer and the Research Directorate’s Crew Systems and Aviation Operations Branch for the Airspace Technology Demonstration team lead. Ms. Harrison joined the Game Changing Development Program team in February 2018 as a program element manager.
